DS106 Assignment:
Make a creative Valentine’s Day card.
The Process:
This was done completely in Photoshop. Just for fun, I created the Pokeball from scratch.
The Story:
I recommend to pay the extra few dollars for a Hallmark card if you don’t want to be rejected. Go for one that sings.
…This card would be even more epic if it played “Gotta Catch ’em All’ when you opened it! : P

Nice job on the pokeball! Looks good, especially from scratch.
The shadows are interesting… what process did you use to do them?

The shadows on the pokeball? Unfortunately, my dodge and burn tools weren’t working (probably my own fault on something). So, I did it with the brush tool and different shades at different opacities and blending. That’s why it’s kind of sloppy. : P

This reminds me of the little Valentine’s Day cards everyone would pass out to each other in elementary school. Kind of nostalgic 🙂

Those were so adorable! I miss those…

Glad you described the process of making the Pokemon ball from scratch in the comments. It looks great.
I too have fond memories of the little Valentine’s cards we gave one another back in grade school.
